Partnering with organizations such as the Long Beach Accelerator, the SCF provides critical resources that help founders create scalable companies and quality jobs. As a response to the Grow Long Beach initiative, our intention is to grow the local economy by fostering economic investment and funding opportunities for startups and investment partners who wish to grow and establish roots in Long Beach.

We’ve distilled our thinking down to two words: Enriching Lives. Enriching Lives by growing the American economy, thereby improving our own community and the world around us. 

Current partners and programs include the 100 Startup Initiative in Long Beach, the Long Beach Accelerator, the Long Beach Venture Fund, and the CSULB’s Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship.  

SCF selects and supports partnerships aligned with the Sunstone values centered around enriching lives through development of programs and initiatives that create entrepreneurial opportunities, community development opportunities, and venture capital investments that support a multitude of industry verticals.  

Sunstone provides grant and sponsorship opportunities for early-stage startup founders with pre-seed funding. Pre-seed investment is vital for startups as it validates their business idea, enables market research and planning, fuels early growth, and establishes credibility for future funding rounds. 

100% of your donation goes to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit partners, such as the Long Beach Accelerator and the CSULB Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. 

Your donation enables programs to provide educational resources, mentors, workspaces, and access to early funding, critical for entrepreneurs to launch successful companies.

Donations to our charitable arm go toward catalyzing partnerships that create economic opportunities for startup founders and communities.

The SCF measures the impact and success of its grants and sponsorships through quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback from startups, students, and entrepreneurs to continually improve programs. 

Donors receive quarterly impact reports highlighting new grants, entrepreneur success stories, and how their contributions are driving economic development.
